Last fall, KWLT announced our first One Act Play Writing Contest in conjunction with the One Act Play Weekends. We sent out entry packets and information to over 50 schools in Waterloo Region and Wellington County. We had a total of 6 entries, the majority of which were submitted from Guelph, and 3 plays were chosen as the winners and were selected for production in the May One Act Play Weekend. Thanks to Sher Dicicio, Jenn Epps, and Lynda Munz for judging the writing, and to Elizabeth Barratt, Gabrielle Clermont, and Mark Hughes for judging the producibility of the entries. Thank you to Shannon Brydes, BJ Johnson, and Gerald Noonan for entering the contest, and congratulations to Keith Slater, Steve Morrison, and David Whiteley, the contest winners.
