Preparation of Power Plays Proceeds as Planned

KWLT's second annual adjudicated short play contest, Power Plays, takes to Stage One March 28--30. With nine plays and over 35 cast members, this year's edition promises to be a worthy successor to last year's runaway hit. Rod Carley, our adjudicator from last year, returns by popular demand, fresh from his critically acclaimed ``The Othello Project'' which ran at the Ford Centre late last year. Rod's adjudication proved not only to be insightful andd instructive, but was also highly entertaining. Once again the format will consist of 3 evenings of three plays, with public adjudication following each performance and private adjudication for those involed, at the end of the night. A selection of comedies and dramas ensures three nights of entertainment and edification. Be sure to reserve a seat -- last year we were forced to turn people away. Showtime is 7pm each night, and tickets are $8/$6 members per evening, or $20/$15 for all three.
