Well, we've got good news and bad news about the building. The good news is that it's still standing and that we are thrilled to have received a $4,000 grant from the City of Waterloo to help us out. The bad news is that the roof needs some attention. We've been talking to our friends at Totten, Sims, Hubicki Associates, engineers and architects, and they've given us some good ideas. We're confident that we'll be able to do it for not too much money, but we'll need a lot of help from our friends and members, hammering and painting.
So, if you can help us out (even if you don't have much experience), or if you're willing to learn, or know how a broom works, call John at 579-2046 or Karl at 886-3572 to find out how you can help.
And, if your schedule doesn't let you help us out with the physical labours, our building fund is always grateful for any donations.
