And Even More to Come!

In July, we'll be presenting Writing With Our Feet, by Dave Carley, directed by Chad Dembski. The synopsis: Jean-Francois is an agoraphobic man, paranoid about losing his arms like one of his relatives, so he begins to learn how to write with his feet. A series of excentric characters that are involved in Jean-Francois' life ``drop by'' his place and try to help him come out of his garage. Chad has directed a number of plays at KWLT, the most recent being ``Cut!'', a major award winner at our ``Power Plays'' festival in March. Join us Thursday through Saturday, July 13-15 and 20-22 at 8pm in Stage One. Tickets are only $8, $6KWLT members.

And in late August, we will be presenting an original play by Joanne Olson, tentatively entitled Weather, I Will. This play explores the contradictory and crucial relationship two women have with the weather and each other. Weather, I Will focuses on the concepts of perception and the pendulum of emotional experiences. It also examines the ways we build relationships and the anxiety we experience trying to control our environments in order to find happiness. Call Joanne Olson or Lisa Peterson (the stage manager), at 725-4667 for more information.
